Vanity: CT Tut for Amy Marie
This tutorial was written on September 27, 2013. Any
similarity to any other tut is purely coincidental. I use PSP X5, but you
should be able to do this in any version.
You
Will Need:
Tube
of choice. I used “Seana” by Misticheskaya.
You must have a license to use this tube. You can find it here.
Template:

Terms
to Know:
C&P-Copy
and paste
SAFDI-Selections>Select
All>Float>Defloat>Invert
SAFD-Selections>Select
All>Float>Defloat
DS-Drop
Shadow (All my DS layers are 3, -3, 50, 5, black)
Crop
to Selection- Ctrl+a on the layer below the one you just pasted a paper (or
object) on. Back to the paper (or object) and Shift+r.
Center
in Canvas- Objects>Align>Center in Canvas
Apply
Mask- Layers>New Mask Layer>From Image and choose your mask.
Add
Noise- Image>Add/Remove Noise>Add Noise (My default settings are
Gaussian, 50%, Monochrome)
All instructions
regarding tubes assume you are using the same tube I did. If you use a
different one, adjust size/placement accordingly.
© Open template, Shift+d
to duplicate, close original, delete credit layer.
© Background: Open pp10,
C&P, crop to selection, open and apply mask, merge group.
© 1: SAFDI. Open pp2,
C&P, delete, crop to selection, merge down. Open 83, C&P, place where
you like. Repeat on 2.
© 3: SAFDI. Open pp11,
C&P, delete, crop to selection, merge down.
© 4: SAFDI. Open 8,
C&P, place where you like. Duplicate, flip horizontal, flip vertical, place
where you like.
© 5: Flood fill with
color of choice. Open 65, resize 74%, place where you like, change layer
properties to Luminance Legacy. Repeat for layer 6.
© 7: Flood fill with
chosen color.
© 8: SAFDI. Open pp1,
C&P, delete, crop to selection, merge down.
© Open 14, C&P,
resize 70%, place where you like, change layer properties to Overlay.
© Open 40, C&P,
resize 66%, place where you like.
© Open tube, C&P, resize
65%, place where you like, duplicate. Drag duplicate below 40. Activate 40,
SAFD. On top tube, erase any part you need to, select none.
© Open 100, C&P, resize
42%, drag below top tube layer, place where you like.
© Activate top layer. Open
101, C&P, resize 35%, place where you like.
© Open 98, C&P,
resize 45%, place where you like.
© Open 12, C&P,
resize 35%, place where you like.
© Open 67, C&P,
resize 41%, place where you like.
© Open 92, C&P,
resize 37%, place where you like.
© Select your Text Tool
and write your name. Place where you like it, Convert to Raster, SAFD, Expand 3,
Layers*New Layer, Flood Fill with color of choice and drag below text. Add Noise
if you want. Activate text, DS (1, 1, 50, 5, black) Merge Down.
© Add DS to any layers
