Falling: CT for Amy Marie
This tutorial was written on September 11, 2013. Any
similarity to any other tut is purely coincidental. I use PSP X5, but you
should be able to do this in any version.
You
Will Need:
Tube
of choice. I used “Autumn Day” by Alex
Prihodko. You have to have a license to use this tube. You can get it here.
Font: RecordaScript (30 pt, no stroke)
Terms
to Know:
C&P-Copy
and paste
SAFDI-Selections>Select
All>Float>Defloat>Invert
SAFD-Selections>Select
All>Float>Defloat
DS-Drop
Shadow (The settings I used for all my DS layers were: 3, 3, 50, 5, black)
Crop
to Selection- Ctrl+a on the layer below the one you just pasted a paper (or
object) on. Back to the paper (or object) and Shift+r.
Center
in Canvas- Objects>Align>Center in Canvas
Apply
Mask- Layers>New Mask Layer>From Image and choose your mask.
Add
Noise- Image>Add/Remove Noise>Add Noise (My default settings are
Gaussian, 50%, Monochrome)
All instructions
regarding tubes assume you are using the same tube I did. If you use a
different one, adjust size/placement accordingly.
© Open pp3, promote
background, open and apply mask, merge group. Open pp16, C&P, open and
apply mask, rotate left 30 degrees, merge down.
© Open 28, C&P,
resize 123%, Center in Canvas. Using the magic wand, select the inside of the
frame, expand 10, invert selection. Open pp13, C&P, delete, select none,
drag below frame layer.
© Open tube, flip
horizontal, place where you like it, Crop to Selection. Activate frame back,
SAFDI. On tube, delete, select none, change layer properties to overlay.
© Activate frame layer. Open
104, place in the lower right. Duplicate, place in lower left, merge down.
© Open tube, resize 50%,
place where you like.
© Activate group layer.
Open 16, place where you like.
© Open 4, place where you
like.
© Open 10, place where
you like.
© Activate frame layer.
Open 77, place where you like.
© Open 76, place where you
like, merge down, duplicate, flip horizontal, place where you like.
© Open 99, resize 52%,
place where you like.
© Open 89, resize 78%,
place where you like.
© Activate the overlay
tube. Open 101, rotate left 30 degrees, change layer properties to Luminance
(L).
© Select your Text Tool
and write your name. Place where you like it, Convert to Raster, SAFD, Expand 3,
Layers*New Layer, Flood Fill with color of choice and drag below text. Add
Noise if you want. Activate text, DS (1, 1, 50, 5, black), Merge Down.
© Add DS to any layers
you want. Add your CR info and you’re done! Thanks for using my tut J!
