HoHoHo
This tutorial was written on November 23, 2013. Any
similarity to any other tut is purely coincidental. I use PSP X5, but you
should be able to do this in any version.
You
Will Need:
Tube
of choice. I used “Christmas Babe
1” by Elias Chatzoudis. You must have a license to use this tube. You can
find it here.
Template:

Terms
to Know:
C&P-Copy
and paste
SAFDI-Selections>Select
All>Float>Defloat>Invert
SAFD-Selections>Select
All>Float>Defloat
DS-Drop
Shadow (My default DS settings are: 3, -3, 50, 5, black)
Crop
to Selection- Ctrl+a on the layer below the one you just pasted a paper (or
object) on. Back to the paper (or object) and Shift+r.
Center
in Canvas- Objects>Align>Center in Canvas
Apply
Mask- Layers>New Mask Layer>From Image and choose your mask.
Add
Noise- Image>Add/Remove Noise>Add Noise (My default settings are
Gaussian, 50%, Monochrome)
All instructions
regarding tubes assume you are using the same tube I did. If you use a
different one, adjust size/placement accordingly.
© Open template, shift+d
to duplicate, close original, delete credit layer.
© 2: SAFDI. Open pp17,
C&P, delete, select none, merge down.
© 3: Flood fill with
darker green, change opacity to 50%.
© 5:SAFDI. Open pp16,
C&P, delete, select none, merge down.
© 6: Flood fill with dark
red, change opacity to 50%.
© 8: SAFDI. Open pp20,
C&P, delete, select none, merge down.
© 9: Flood fill with
green of choice, change opacity to 50%.
© 11: SAFDI. Open pp21,
C&P, delete, select none, merge down.
© 12: Flood fill with red
of choice, lower opacity to 50%.
© 13: SAFDI. Open pp14,
C&P, delete, select none, merge down.
© 14: SAFDI. Open pp13,
C&P, delete, select none, merge down.
© 15: Flood fill with
color of choice. Effects*Texture Effects*Blinds with the settings: Width- 20,
Opacity- 75%, Color- your choice, both boxes unchecked.
© Open tube, C&P,
place where you like. Activate 15, SAFDI. On tube, delete, select none, change
layer properties to Overlay.
© 16: Open 28, C&P,
resize 80%, place where you like.
© Open 37, C&P,
resize 30%, place where you like.
© Open 38, C&P,
resize 30%, place where you like.
© Activate 37, duplicate,
drag above 38, place where you like.
© Open tube, C&P, flip
horizontal, resize 86%, place where you like
© Open 5, C&P, resize
50%, place where you like. Duplicate, place where you like.
© Open 12, C&P,
resize 50%, place where you like, drag below copy of 5, arrange the way you
like.
© Select your Text Tool
and write your name.
© Add DS to any layers
you want. Add your CR info and you’re done! Thanks for using my tut J!
